RIDDLE:

There is one bus with seven girls in it.

Each girl has 7 backpacks and each backpack has seven big cats.

Each big cat has seven little cats.

How many legs are there all together?





I seem to be over-analysing the riddle and can't get the answer right.....or I'm just an idiot. I prefer the former possibility.

Unless any of the girls or cats are disfigured, there are:

7 girls = 14 legs

7 x 7 backpacks = 49 backpacks

49 x 7 = 343 big cats = 343 x 4 = 1372 legs

343 x 7 = 2401 small cats = 9604 legs


Total legs = 14 + 1372 + 9604 = 9990

This is not including other people that may be on the bus, such as the bus driver, which included would be 9992.

Also, this is assuming that such a ridiculous thing would be possible.

Oh, yeah, and assuming that there's no furniture (which may have legs).

Anthing else I'm forgetting?

Each girl has 7 knapsacks therefore 1568 cat legs plus 2 girls legs makes 1570 legs per girl.
