I dont know about that...India might start supporting them just to foil China.

I don't really see India providing support to the LTTE either overtly or covertly. The ltte leader is still wanted in India for his role in the assassination of Ragiv Ghandi. Also any support for the ltte could encourage tamil nationalism and lead to renewed separtist sentiment in tamil nadu.
