Canada Post, union finalize outstanding contractual language in tentative deals

To be replaced by what service that will provide snail mail delivery of letters, documents, and magazine subscriptions to seniors, and other people who may not have computer access or capabilities, and at an affordable cost for the average Canadian?

Denmark has ended mail delivery and this decision is being closely watched by other countries that still have delivery. To send or pickup mail, there someone must go to the store of a delivery company (DAO) or specified collection points. I'm not sure how viable this would be here because we're much bigger than Denmark.

Canada Post owns most of Purolator.
They should take it over and become a canadian amazon delivery service.
