They should look, but again the question is whether anyone thinks that this was funnelling money somewhere that it shouldn't.
The only real question is whether there is another charity or organization that's better suited than WE, which does have a big footprint in schools already.
Maybe there is and they should have checked it out.

We'll just wait and see what the Ethics Commissioner discovers and decides.

In the meantime, you can keep convincing yourself that Trudeau never breaks any ethics rules.

This absolutely should have been investigated. It looks sketchy as hell and part of the job is to avoid even the appearance of these kinds of conflicts of interests. It may turn out to be a nothing burger, but the pushback on this was the right thing to do, imo.
