Hey Terbies,

Did a search, didn't find an answer, so thought I would ask:

Within Canada interact e-transfer works great for sending cash without my real name.....on TD you can change your name and email address to whatever you want, which is great.

Now if someone is in the US, they need paypal.

I have looked into paypal, it seems the name on the account must be a match to the name on the related credit card. A no go obviously.

I read somewhere you can have two accounts, one with your real name linked to your ccard, and one with an alias.

You send money from the real one to the fake one; the fake one now has "money in its paypal account" and you can then pay from the fake one.

Does this work? On paypal do you actually have an account that funds hold in?

Thanks for your help and any suggestions you might have,

Blade

If you are logging in to both accounts from the same computer/IP chances are both accounts will get flagged.

Stay safe and out of trouble :ballchain:

I have a Canadian Paypal & a US Paypal account
Different names & addresses

Many American companies will not accept Canadian Paypal (or addresses) for payments

Also no reason to flag IP anyways; do you really think a family of 4 all uses the same Paypal account?

I contacted PayPal just this week about this. They answered me:

"Thank you for contacting PayPal Customer Support.

For security purposes, this feature you are requesting is currently unavailable.

Please be advised that whenever you process payments using PayPal, the recipient will see your email address and your name and this is how PayPal works.

Thank you for being a valuable member of the PayPal community and have a great day."

I have two email accounts linked to PayPal, but ultimately, my real name appears on each since it's connected to my bank account and to my credit card.

I would never link a bank account

And credit cards are easy since Paypal accepts prepaid
Walk into post office and pick one up

No need to use real name
(and yes it violates their rules so they can delete account if caught)

Hi everyone,

In case anyone is wondering or cares, I figured it out.

Opened up a paypal account, fake name, anonymous email address, etc.

Then bought Visa and Mastercard gift cards, linked them to my paypal, and paid with those.

Very easy, real identity not needed.

I am sure most of you knew this already.

Just do not keep actual funds in the paypal account unless you are willing to lose the cash. If they find out, they will seize the money.
