Moderator
The Moderating Team is currently investigating an issue regarding certain members and their reviews, and the use of these reviews that is not consistent with the principles or posting guidelines of the board.
In an effort to provide an equanimous position, while attempting to maintain the integrity of the board, the Moderating Team has decided to implement the following protocol for Embargoed Review Status (ERS):
1. Members under ERS will not be named, but contacted privately by Moderator. Moderator's decision on whether a member is on the ERS list is completely and irrevocably at our discretion.
2. Reviews by members under ERS will be temporarily embargoed, and removed from public view, until the issues are clarified. These members will still have access to the board, and be able to participate in discussions, but comments that are tantamount to reviews or promotions, in Moderator's opinion, will be deleted. The embargo may be applied retroactively to past reviews.
3. Depending on how the issues are clarified, on a case-by-case basis, the reviews will be returned to public view, or the ERS member suspended or banned. Timelines for case consideration depend on Moderator workload.
4. No speculation regarding specific members will be tolerated on the public board.
