Apple phones are easier to support long term by Apple because the hardware and OS has progressed so little the last 4 years, it's really easy for them to keep their software updated.

That's just stupid... really.

Apple has three different devices (iPod touch (3 models), iPhone (3 models) and iPad (2 models)) all running the same OS... Google can't get one group of devices (phones) to upgrade smoothly.....
