I've read online a lot of people who actually know him or have met him aren't believing most of what has been levied against him.
Hard to decipher whether he's just playing a role and some of these girls were going along. Or he has a nasty side which takes over and inflicts harm. No doubt that he's extremely manipulative, provocative and brazen though.
Romania is a very corrupt country so there's also the possibility that this is just an attempt to shut him down and grab his wealth.

So, let's do an IQ test, Orry. You're a cop prosecuting a high level case against a multi millionaire "influencer" with access to media and hi price attorneys. What do you do before you lay the charge?...
You actually interview and get statements from all the witnesses, including those you say are victim-witnesses. Right?.... Somewhere all the vics have given statements on video to the police. If not, then you have ample wiretap and computer-file evidence to back up your allegations that these vics were controlled and compelled to work. Because you would be an implausibly incompetent cop if you didn't have this stuff.
So what is happening here?.... I suggest options:
1. The girls are fakes and are not the women the cops claim were victimized and they're there to muddy the waters as to whether Tate actually did what he is claimed to have done. This will allow the Tates to keep making money while the prosecution is going on.
2. They are actual victims who have been paid a LOT of money to recant their statements. (Or else they've been told that their friends and relatives might get the shit beaten out of them and their little pets disappear if they snitch and cooperate with the prosecution).
Both 1 and 2 are a lot more plausible than a cop who pulls the bust of his career without doing even basic legwork. I mean, what do you think cops do all day!? Eat donuts?!

He claims prior to the lift that he does 1000 push ups a day. He used to fight at 205 lb's. So he's probably a little heavier or maybe the same. It would be quite possible to do that without lifting weights. I saw Conroy Nelson ( you can look him up) bench 315 for 3 once myself. Once again he never lifted a weight in his life. Ben Johnson was reputed to rep out 315 for 10 on any given day even though he never trained with weights regularly.
As for the boxing. Tate was great. He says ''I'm not allowed to hurt you I'm a professional. You're allowed to hurt me. If you knock me clean out I deserve it.'' Tate just goes light. That's it. He never came close to opening up or breaking his nose. To say that is ridiculous. At the end Thurston thanks Tate and says '' every man needs to experience combat''.

Would you like me to post pics of Tate actually lifting weights prior to the video. He was full of shit. As I mentioned there is another video of Thurston where it shows his true feelings of Tate after that hit to the nose. Thurston relies on his mug to make money and the last thing he needed was a chance at a broken nose which clearly Tates last punch came close.
100 push ups does not translate to a 225lb 10 rep bench press if you've never lifted.
