Dunno, but Craig's seems more accessible with numerous locations across the GTA. And they're cheaper....only $3 a cookie.

Craig’s cookies are great and well worth it for the price. I’m just curious on how good these much more expensive cookies are lol

The joke is you do not get to eat her cookie, she will give you a box to diddle. @ $28. for 6 cookies.

$28 for 6 cookies...I bet you they are delicious and I've spent 10x to eat a cookie where a hotdog has been an hour ago....so I'd give her cookie a shot if I'm in the area...she's nice to look at...I wonder if she does bbbjcimsw for her partner...

Overpriced lol. Most guys probably show up hoping she's at the store that day and for a brief chat. End of the day it just makes the guys feel better. Most people feel better when an attractive person smiles at them and even talks to them a bit. Car shows often have attractive women there for a reason.

So hard to tell how successful this business is. We just look at the store front, see a line up and assume lots of money. I have seen the books on business's that appear to be thriving in the public eye but to my surprise they were in a giant hole. Location wise, for a guy like me, if I cant find parking I'm not interested. I don't walk to buy anything. I drive. I may have money to spend, however, if it's a pain to get - no thanks. Plus six cookies can last me one hour. Seems like a lot of work for the price. What do I know?

pretty much...If for $28 all I get is cookies in a busy area...there are way better options...she may get traffic from residents close by...but I don't understand the hype... I had a friend who raved about The Pie Commission and gifted me a pack of 3...it was good...but too far to drive from Durham...No way I'd go out of my way for some good pie...if i'm in a short drive distance...heck I'd go for it...

A lot of businesses that come high end and luxurious are closing down due to debt and usually bad location. End of the day she doesn't own the property and I bet rent will be high for her each year. I read an article the other day about high end restaurants in Germany closing down due to the economy. On the outside they all look like they are well off. Commercial property landlords are savages lol. I've seen businesses where I am last a year or two then close up shop cause the landlord wanted way more and at times other businesses call up the owner and make a deal and that new business doesn't do that well either and they close up and leave. Then the landlord at times tries to get the other person back to the location (I've heard this from a small business owner and she said no thanks to move back and opened shop else where).

A lot of restaurants in NYC are in the same situation. They fork over money for magazine ads or have articles about them (not sure if they pay for it) but the rent generally kills them I'd say compared to overhead.

My thoughts are in line with yours. 1000 percent. I'm sure I can get decent cookies or desert at Longo's. Good enough.
