At the largest stage of his young career Andre De Grasse wins a bronze in the 100m at World Track And Field Championships. Only 20 years old this guy is scary good.

Ben didn't cheat wisely.

Bolt is 29 and probably won't run that fast again. On the on the other hand De Drasse is only 20 and is on the rise.

Ben didn't cheat wisely.....

According to ESPN's 9.79* documentary, the only reason he was caught was his drink being spiked by an American who essentially admitted it on film. Yes Ben was cheating (as was pretty much everyone else) but was only caught because the US cheated at the cheating.

DeGrasse will return to USC for his senior year. I think this is the right thing to do. USC gave him a full scholarship when he was a nobody. Plus, he'll finish his formal education. The money will come.

Yeah, the money will come next summer (after he's done school)... and it just so happens to be an Olympic summer. It should work out perfectly for him.

He does have a risk of injury, but college athletes can get insurance to guard against that.

degrasse's arrival came at a good time, the main guys are getting old, be interesting if gatlin, gay, and powell juice one last time before the olympics as a last hurrah, they won't care if they get caught as they've made their money and none have a legacy to worry about.

Bolt prolly won't run past next year as he won't want to go out starting to lose races, and there's nothing left to win.

If he wins next year, he should definitely retire. 3 Olympic Gold Medals in a row... in the 100m! His name will be equivalent to Babe Ruth's.

Well after the USA protested and prevented Canada from winning the men's 4x100m relay at the Pan-Ams, the USA got disqualified at the world's and Canada wins a bronze. 2 Bronze medals for De Grasse at the worlds. I see De Grasse the fastest man in the world by the 2020 Olympics.
