I'm aware of that... too much danger from sun burn!

I wear smog blanket in the city! Keeps things mostly modest.

I do get some strange glances from time to time during the ride!

Sorry ang... As much as I love my SO, she is NOT ALLOWED TO TOUCH THE NAPOLEON! Some things are just sacred, you know? (She tried it once... it didn't go well...)

(There are however a number of pics in my private spank bank of some interesting strip 9-ball games!)

nice pics cycledude...i would so ride that path
Yes, it is one of my favs! From start to finish, its 46.8 kms... if you include the entire circuit. I usually do this one on Saturdays & Sundays... Weekday evenings I do a smaller version of it and I leave from the office. That one is only 30.2 kms. :)

Only reason they get away with it in TO is because of the permanent layer of smog blanketing the city! :p

**cycleguy now retreats from the thread to avoid barrage of flames** LOL!
Excellent pics CG007...and I would never flame anyone for accuracy.

Btw, where do you sign up to canoe down the Grand River?

Thanks IV!

There are a number of canoeing company's available...

Kitchener Area:
http://www.canoeingthegrand.com/ (I have used this one and can personally recommend them)

Cambridge/ Paris area:
http://www.grand-experiences.com/ (I highly recommend this company!)
http://www.grandriverrafting.ca/ (I have yet to use this one- they have a Nith River excursion which looks interesting...)

Paris Brantford Area:
http://www.heritageriver.com/ (I haven't used this company but may try them in the future.)

They all include shuttle service, canoe, paddles, and life vests, and they all have a number of different excursions available. If you have kids... TAKE THEM! My kids love these types of things (they are teenagers...)

There are likely more further south and possibly more further north. One other thing that is REALLY cool is tubing through Elora Gorge!
