I love these articles because it gives us all a moment to say thank you to all the wonderful sex workers that we see.

The article had pictures. I counted one good-looking woman in all those pictures. Maybe two.

The usual drivel about lack of quality men. The economic advancement of women in the United States in the last few decades has been spectacular. It made the pie bigger, but not proportionately bigger. Like the economic status of women increased by 25 percent but the pie got 10 percent bigger (hypothetical numbers). But they complain that there are not enough guys who give them a lifestyle upgrade. No, sweetheart, there aren’t. You ate his piece of pie.

It is certainly a societal tragedy, since men are being deprived of ever really getting to know this potential mother-in-law:

“Last year, Michele Kirsch told her three adult daughters she wanted them to have “boyfriends by Christmas.” She had a dream, she had told them, that each of them was standing in front of the lit-up tree next to “a hunk who liked to ski and went to a good school.”

Remember in the 60's when it was predicted that at the then current rate of population growth there won't be enough food supply to feed the trillions of people that will exist in the not-too-distant-future?

The critical birth rate to just maintain the current level of population is 2.1 children per woman, and many countries are now experiencing birth rates less than that.

Some countries are now offering cash incentives for women to have children, as their populations are declining.

I'm a life long bachelor because I've seen a good reason to be married.
These articles never seem to consider the possibility that non-married people might actually be happy. Maybe that is why so many of the women in the article aren’t looking for a spouse. It pisses off the White Supremacists in the U.S. due to the Great Replacement Theory. But fuck them. Increase immigration if need be. The world population is higher than ever. Life will go on just fine, even for the old witch in the article who is demanding that her daughters get Boyfriends By Christmas.

Yeah, less births today than when I was born in 1965 even though Canada has many more people.

Actually, statistics show that unmarried and childless women are happiest. Married men are happiest. I don't think it takes much to figure out why that it.

And thank god for that.

World population has more than doubled since 1965.

Farm technology has kept those 1960s starvation predictions from occuring.

But other types of technology are not conducive to managing employment and activity for 8.2 Billion people, let alone a further multiple of that.

Why not tell us, just in case we can’t figure it out on our own.

Women get most of the degrees now, so you need to help us out with the thinking part.

Statistics also show that married couples without children are the happiest marriages.

More time and energy for each other, more disposable income, more freedom and time to enjoy leisure activities, and a whole lot less to fight about... ;)

I think you may be referring to Paul Dolan's claim in a book he wrote which was widely circulated and cited online as a "study" for years.

However, he retracted the claim.

Maybe that is where all the other articles came from, I'm not going back to research it so I can't agree or disagree with you comment. However I can say from experience with myself and other women I know, part of that equal ruin is very true.

My personal experience has been that single individuals - with or without children, male and female - are lonelier and less happy. The men fill the void with work and the women do so with medication.

But that's small-scale personal observation, so who knows.

We know extremely different types of people. LOL. Not my experience at all. At least with the women I know - men I would agree. 90% of the single men I know are miserable.

Don't play daft. It's unbecoming.....
Had to look up what daft means. British English isn’t my thing. I recognized Unbecoming from that Prince Andrew interview.

I would actually be interested in your thoughts. It is a subject that has always interested me. The primary scholar on single life is an older female, and most of her audience seems to be female.

I have opinions, but they may not be correct of course.

If you don’t adjust it for income and age, I think a single woman is happier than a single man because:

Women have larger social groups of friends to do things with, and sexually, they have their best orgasms with toys and other women.

However, I think when you divide it in terms of wealth and age, I think the happiness advantage shifts to older men, because society is more accustomed to guys buying certain services. Sex is the most obvious one, but it certainly includes food, laundry, and cleaning. I see more single men buying these things throughout their lives than women do.

If you can’t afford buying these things, single male life sucks, and there is less ability to buy those things when you are young. Which is possibly why single men work a lot at jobs throughout their lives, even though the pay structure often rewards married men according to many studies. They want more income to spend.

Women compare themselves to other women more often than men compare themselves to other men. So some women feel awkward as they age and have less to talk to with married women, especially those with children. Men just talk about sports.

So I would like to see more of these studies divided by income and age.

Older single women should probably be more willing to buy things, in my opinion. I see lots of restaurants with single men eating there. They are likely scoping out the female server, but they need to eat. And I see lots of sex workers advertising that they see women, but when you ask them, most say their customer base is primarily male.
