I saw that poor guy's audition on the show. It was a highlight apparently, because they showed it a couple of times.

I think the performers who are terrible, and who are oblivious to how bad they are, are the absolute funniest. What I find painful are the performers who are mediocre or even pretty good, but who are convinced they are great.

I saw the show with that "she bangs" guy and i nearly died laughing, it has got to be one of the funniest things i've ever seen, lol!

it still does not match the ***** who sang like a virgin from last year, the guy had a green sweater. He also thought he could dance.

it's no contest last years guy is the worst ever so far on american idol.

the asian guy was pretty funny.

I think the she bangs guy just showed up at the auditions in between classes as a lark. They showed him leaving and he had his backpack with him like he was just heading back to school.

The like a virgin guy was scary funny because he had absolutely no clue how bad he was.

The other one does seem like it could be staged though.

I think "Green Sweater Guy" was the real thing.
You can see exactly when his dreams are crushed by Simon.

Simon Hung. Well he's a trooper.
Gave it his best, failed and then trotted off to his next AstroPhysics lecture.

My cousin told me there actual a lesbian (not that their is anything wrong with that) on the show. I think I have seen her in the commercials and she looks like your typical dress-like-a-boy-butchy-type lesbian.

Heard she is having trouble finding partners to sign with?
How is she? Can she make it to the finals?
Just curious?

It would be something if the American Idol finalist was blatantly gay! (assuming that Clay Aiken is heterosexual).

Your cousin is right, there is such a person on the show, but I don't know if it is common knowledge that she is gay. She competes next week, so you will get your chance to critique her. I don't know if I've ever heard her sing.

And don't kid yourself, Clay is as gay as they come. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

Is it a proven fact that Clay is gay (like pictures or marriage announcements)?

I remember seeing him at one of the many music awards ceremonies and Triumph the Comic Insult Dog made a Clay/gay joke. He didn't look too happy.

No, manji, I am just guessing. I don't think Clay has been officially outed by anyone. Same holds for the so called lesbian on this year's show. She hasn't come out as gay either.

And btw, Triumph is a comic genius!!
