I thought this was an interesting film. They did a nice job of showing the cultural differences. It all happed a few miles from where I live. The only real bias I could see was a slight Pro union pull but they managed it well.

I get the feeling that Chinese culture will be exported through industrial development in other countries

I’m old enough to remember the tension around the Japanese controlling and exporting products, manufacturing prowess.... until they didn’t. I kept wondering if China will run into the same wall.

My experience is that a very high % of billionaires are douche bags. As for the Chairman thing, that’s just cultural. I can remember being told where to sit and how low to bow (that last one never took well with me) when meeting very senior people in Tokyo.
