Congratulations on the successful opening of Alpha West. The facilities, showers, lighting, ambience, and lounge are all upscale, classy, and elegant.

Was a busy opening with many beautiful women on site. Thanks for the tour and for the hugs. You were happy and radiant!

Had a great session with Mary. She showed me how the ambient lighting works. Very impressive. She split the shower jets and adjusted so we could enjoy delightful frolics with individual sprays and temps

The massage was amazing. Hit the right pressure points, nice flow, lotion appreciated, a happy ending indeed!

Mary's a lovely young lady ... intelligent, interesting, mischievous, with dangerous curves and a dazzling smile. Repeat = hell yeah!

My experience was different than yours. On the second night of West opening, there was only one girl working after being told there were 5 available. The first thing that girl did was ask for an extra $50 to kiss her. It was more for sf2 and getting nude. No mention of anything else. I walked. So, no the $200/hr does not always include SF2 or nudity.

Compare the above to a recent experience downtown where the girl was in the shower before I could get my shirt off and very affectionate (DFK, etc) without prompting or an asking for additional $$.

There is a lot of inconsistency with Alpha right now.

I agree, that's why I go to ALO.

Welcome to terb Bryar! The most important thing about a spa owner is how the ladies are treated, and I've had several ladies tell me good things about Jess unsolicited. That goes a long way for me.
Just as Jess knows clients need to be treated well to ensure repeat business, she knows the ladies need to be happy and treated well to be at their best.
I've been happy with Alpha and the new location is great.

As for the offer to help, it is sincere. You get the girls to stop upselling. Me and those who enjoy your business get good service and make positive reviews. That is how it works.

Everyone on here seems out to get you, but the same thing happened to me on the day of opening. I have a feeling it might have been the same girl.

It was my first visit at Alpha so i had 4 available girls come in one at a time and introduce themselves. Very enjoyable concept and the ladies were very friendly and welcoming except one. One of the 4 sat on the bed, coldly said “Hi” and went straight to her list of extras and pricing which included extra fees for nudity and extra for SF2. Suffice to say i wrote her off immediately and did not pick her But didn’t make a big deal of it. Figured it might be par for the course since it was my first visit.

I don’t think it’s fair that you are being called a liar so I wanted to speak up. I have nothing to gain either way, just sharing my experience.

Again, would have preferred to be told in private so that I can fix the issue instead of this embrassement. But we’re here now.

You all know who I am, I don’t hide behind a computer and that speaks volumes.
Think about that for a minute and to anyone who thinks I or any other sw should NOT have a voice here and that I deserved to me mocked, belittled and thought of as crazy because I dare to speak here, is disturbing.
Anyone that knows me, knows that I’m an involved business owner at both businesses seven days a week and that I’m passionate about protecting the hostesses while giving the client the best service possible. I’m even seen many of you in session when I was a hostess.

I’ll message you in private (like I so wished you would have chosen to do instead) so we can find out who the hopefully 1 culprit is and bring an end to this practice happening all together.
Even though I found this whole experience embarrassing, I have no regrets because if just one hostess out of 70 is doing this giving the club a bad name, it must be stopped.

Just because I feel a certain way about you and Joedrake doesn’t mean I still won’t try to get to the bottom of this.

Which brings me to my update:
Joedrake has set up a meeting with me in person and we do hope to resolve this like actual people, not handles behind a computer. So I applaud him.
I wish everyone would take the productive approach of reaching out to me in person.

I’ve been in contact with both members and none of them have been willing or able to give me any name or any real description other than someone who doesn’t fit anyone at the club. One did try though, but like I said, the description doesn’t match anyone. So we’ll continue investigating. Yet both members claimed to be helping me. This has been no help and it certainly did not leave me or anyone else feeling good at all. Which is not ok because we do care and do our best to make sure leave you all happy everyday. I’m sure both joedrake and jshawn613 are unhappy as well. So what did this accomplish other than wasting time and negative energy on both sides?

So I’m left extremely frustrated with no real conclusion other than I feel like an idiot for entertaining anything here.

So please, if anyone has this happen where they are quoted an upcharge for a sf2 and nudity, let us know. We’ve obviously proven and made it clear in this thread that we don’t want staff like that around and that our hostesses are not known for this practice. That being said, we hire new people often.

The club is a community for all.

Most of you might not know I’m the owner when you come in as I don’t announce it. I’m never looking for any recognition. Most people kinda make fun of me really because they say I look too young to be owning anything. Which is fine, I’ll take it as a compliment. I have been running this business for over 6 years now and we’ve all worked very hard and long hours to bring you such a beautiful new club and we’re not done yet. We have some very special and fun things coming your way.

I’ll also let you know who I am when you visit going forward if I’m at the club. Joedrake and jshawn613 said they didn’t know how to contact me directly. I want people to feel confortable and able to communicate with me. I’m not sure how I can do that more than I already have, but I’m open to suggestion. I can guarantee that I’ll definitely be more receptive in private than if you come here online to make your complain before even trying to let us at the club know.
Going online should be a last resort, not the 1st thing you do.


Thank you to the mod for taking down the awful names and belittling post towards me. No, he is definitely not in my favour. I do pay as a supporting member to speak here though. Because if I don’t, my post will be reported as advertisement and taken down. I too have had my post removed. Which is ok because mod is running a business.
As a side note, I also received an awful and anonymous text regarding this thread to my personal phone number. I often give my personal number to clients to get in touch with me when needed. Not that I’ll stop doing that because I do appreciate lovely gentlemen who have become friends overtime, but just to reiterate that some things that happen online do transform themselves into real world situations. I’m not worried about a text. But be aware and comment carefully because it would certainly cause someone else undue stress.

I’ve still been asking my admin staff diligently through out this whole experience if anyone has ever mentioned charging extra for sf2 or nudity. They have yet to know of anyone but will be watching out for it as this is against our policy.

We’re here the listen, you just need to speak with us. I would encourage anyone to do this towards any business going forward.

Thanks for the thorough update.

I've never experienced an MA asking for extra $ for showers or other items in the Alpha base package. The nudity, massages etc have been very well-received, and at no extra cost

If there was ever an issue I would tweet, dm, pm, text, call, email, or speak to you directly. Putting comments on TERB should be a last resort.

The Alpha MAs I've sessioned with have been meticulously well-trained on protocols. Mystery MAs asking for extra funds for basic items are outliers, if they exist at all.

I can honestly say I have never been Charged for any of the basics in a session, SF2, Nudity, Great Massage with Body Slides and Kissing which is a YMMV situation, and when a lady says no to kissing it is respected, as it is their choice.
I have had many sessions with some great Ladies at Alpha, and i can honestly say i experienced more of this at Club CMJ which is the reason i have not been back to CMJ in almost a year, but just to be clear, i have never been upcharged at CMJ for SF2 or any standard options, more just transactional service as soon as the lady walks in the room.
Alpha is my go to Club, The new west end location, while very far for me, is very nice. The downtown location is still very good as well.
Jess, you have my deep respect for all you do, i have never ever had a problem that did not get resolved in a clear and concise manner.
Wishing you well on the new Location and it was nice to have a chat with you yesterday at the downtown location.

The new west location is amazing. It's way easier to park and closer to me. It's been a long time coming and Jess nailed every little detail about the location. Congrats to you Jess!
As for this conversation about up selling on normally provided services... this is the only spa I have been to (I've been to them all) that I have never been upsold by one or more girls on basic massage service. Every single other spa I've been to I've experienced that at least once. I would say cmj would be the worst in the last 2 years. I've stopped going there a result. For spas I allways go to alpha now.

Alpha is the best spa in the city for facilities, locations, service and all around experience hands down. If you have a bad time going to club alpha your doing something wrong. End of story.

At the outset I have to say, I have nothing against Alpha. I am a member and I will continue to visit them when the opportunity arises. But as I said in my last post there is not a lot to distinguish between them and other spas, and certainly not enough to warrant the effusive praise and back handed swipes at the other spas, including a direct attack on CMJ.

1. On the upsell, well that concept only applies to the spas that offer "all-inclusive" services like Alpha, Vibe and CMJ. Some spas operate under a different business model that one pays a "door fee" and then is presented with a list of services and charges they negotiate with the MA. So those are not upsells. But even Alpha and CMJ offer upsells on their website for services not considered to be part of the basic package. (Kinky Kravings or Session Add-ons) listed right on their site and up front when you book. As for upsell in the rooms I beg to differ again. I know the last spa where I was offered an unsolicited upsell was CMJ, and I find that very rare in that spa. I experienced the upsells at other spas before that, and I know from talking with other clients they have had similar experiences. And if you believe it doesn't happen at Alpha, that CMJ is the worst, or it never happened to you, then you have had a different experience than most. And again here what you seem to be implying is an unsolicited "upsell" rather than the client asking the MA if other services are available. To say outright that CMJ is the worst is a direct slam on that spa and in my opinion and experience not true. And I know from the reactions my other post got others believe that as well.
2. On best for facilities I will say that Alpha west is new, and very clean. The showers are great. I find the lighting to be too bright for my taste. But comparing the decor and other aspects to the other spas in town and saying they are the best is pushing it. Just simple things like having hooks to hang your clothes on rather than drop them on the floor would be helpful. But again, it is what it is. I am not slamming Alpha but it is not perfect.
3. Locations puzzles me. They have 2 locations, downtown and west. AT/PS has two spots, CMJ has 3 spots, ALO has 4 and there are other one-offs around the city. Alpha west is within a kilometer in a straight line of Paradise. Downtown the original is probably equidistant from the O train station as CMJ downtown. I don't see them being any better or worse than the other spas for locations.
4. Parking also baffles me. With the exception of the two downtown spas all of the suburban spas have plenty of easily accessible free parking. Not sure why you think Alpha west is better than any of the others in that regard?
5. Service, well the MAs move around a lot and what your statement about service and experience implies is that when an MA comes to Alpha their service improves and if they move elsewhere it degrades? Service from an MA depends on the MA herself and how well the client gets along with them. Location has nothing to do with it. YMMV is the biggest factor.

I don't like to start arguments on message boards because, like we used to say in the army, it is kind of like wrestling as pigs. Both get muddy. However I could not allow the statements made to go unchallenged. They weren't based on fact and were, in my opinion, attacks on other spas.

As I said at the outset, this is not meant to be an attack on Alpha. I will still go there, as well as CMJ, AT/PS, Vibe, ALO etc. I have had good experiences at them all. For me the interaction with the MA and how well we get along is way more important than the venue. (to an extent). So if one of my favourites is on the schedule then I am booking regardless of what club.
