What about ..

Lee Aron.

She was the Metal Queen in Toronto.

Sweetest little bundle of dynamite you ever saw.

All-Time Rock 'n' Roll females, and no Grace Slick? Who can forget her wonderful performance on 'White Rabbit'. And what about Carly Simon? or Joan Jett?

Any punkers remember ...

Wendy O Williams from the Plasmatics?

Now that chick had a rack.

Got to agree about Heart though, especially when Anne was tiny.

I remember seeing her at the old Exhibition in Toronto wearing a pink spadex body suit with thigh high black boots.
What a sight.

I highly recommend last year's CD where she does some jazzy stuff. She has a lovely little voice.

Saw her twice, up close and personnal and drowled the whole time. Once on Canada Day at Nathan Philips Sq. and once at was once the Mississauga Tavern on Dundas.

An oversight to be sure.

Gracie was a great one, yes! Surrelistic Pillow is one of *the* major works from that era.

But while I like Carly, she was not a rocker.

Paul, my comment was more about how much she's done, rather than my personal tastes. Though sometimes I think she should crawl back from the "hole" she came from.

That's okay, there were some good voices back in those days. What about Connie Francis, the Supremes and Petula Clark.

Grace Slick, Deborah Harry and Patti Smith with honourable mention to Marianne Faithful. It's interesting that not many have mentioned the Supremes with Diana Ross and nobody has mentioned Donna Summer!
