All depends on how much speed you have when you're doing it. That's why guys like Ovechkin and Crosby have so much success.

If I could pick any player in the world right now, I can't think of anybody I would take ahead of Ovechkin.
He could very well be the best player right now not even considering his youth and potential.

...with all the new rule changes..it has taken the physical aspect out of the game...I think we can agree to disagree..to me he has his head down a heck of a long time on a couple of those moves...someone watching tape is gonna pick up on that at some point...Now, don't take that as the moves not being phenominal,they are. I find Ovechkin the most exciting player to watch in the NHL hands down, no one even close...

No it's taken the stick work and holding out of the game. Open ice hits are still legal.

Domi got a good piece of him tonight when Alex circled the net one too many times. Ovechkin seemed to tweak a knee on the play. He finished the game but showed he can be hit. He seemed to have a slight disagreement with McCabe.

tweaking a knee usually results in a lengthy stay on the injured reserve list and oftentimes requires surgery.. not fun at all.

I think we both have a different definition of tweaking. My understanding is that it is a day to day type of injury. One thing is apparent, Alex is getting braver which makes him more of a target.
