Doesn't have the lateral movement to keep up with Ovechkin.Would be a repeat of the way Joe Sakic kept making Stevens look foolish when the two met up in the Stanley Cup a few years ago.new2game said:.I'd like to see him try that move on Scott Stevens, whe Stevens was in his prime...

I hear what you're saying. Eventually all forwards get rocked by someone like Stevens. I'm sure defencemen all over the league are just waiting for a chance to hand Ovechkin his lunch. More often than not, I think Ovechkin would have too much speed, power and creativity for Stevens to deal with in a one-on-one situation.new2game said:..Have to disagree. There are at least two times in that clip where Ovechkin has his head down, fishing for the puck. Any defenseman worth his salt had ample opportunity to plaster him.
The game has changed quite a bit since Stevens caught Lindros with that wicked hit.new2game said:..Have to disagree. Then why haven't they?new2game said:..I'm just saying that any decent defenseman could have nailed Ovechkin on a few of those moves..his head was down for a long time fishing at that puck...
