Repeat after me......"Letting Rios go was a basic slaary dump"! We should not be happy with this since it is a continuing move towards reducing payroll by the Jays ownership to squeeze cash flow out of the franchise. They will not reinvest the savings back into the team and they will suck for years to come. Everyone happy now???

He will join the long list of classy players who felt humiliated by this franchise and screamed to get out - Clemens, Shawn Green.....

This franchise has based itself on the Leafs' model of competitive mediocrity and financial greed since '95.

What makes me sick is the way they keep trumpeting the triumphs of the 85-93 era and do absolutely dick-all to try and recreate that type of glory.

80% of professional players let up and put it in cruise control once they get the big contract. It's their way of prolonging their careers and making sure they are healthy for the next contract. Your best bet in fantasy pools is to find out who is in a "contract year" and you'll find a player that is working hard and trying to perform. Rios was on cruise control and anything good he did was a result of pure talent, not desire.

P.S. R A Z O R, that pick you have playing is mesmerizing. I can't stop watching the way those lines of her g-string curve around her.
