I would be surprised if that happened…. Mind you, I have haven’t heard any fact as of yet. If he was following the directors instructions filming a scene, that’s one thing. If he was jack-assing around the set that’s another
You might be right. This guy makes some good points.
He's still looking at a potential lawsuit though

I agree. I think there are two likely/possible scenarios:

1. Good. The director and cinematographer were going over a scene with him, and directed him to shoot.

2. Bad. He was horsing around on the set.

Possibly contained a live round.

This latest article confirms 2 things.

A scene was actively being filmed, so Baldwin was not showing off, which makes sense. This is not his first rodeo.
And there was a live round chambered.

This falls squarely in the lap of the Firearms prop master. Not Baldwin.

An earlier incident.

"Jon-Erik Hexum (/ ˈhɛksəm / was an American actor and model, known for his lead roles in the TV series Voyagers! and Cover Up, and his supporting role as Pat Trammell in the biopic The Bear. He died by an accidental self-inflicted blank cartridge gunshot to the head on the set of Cover Up."

So just out of curiosity. What the fuck are live rounds doing there anyway? Just to prove that with guns Murphy's law is inevitable?

Most common defense statement about guns. " I didn't know it was loaded"

But...but...but it's all Trump's fault!
But seriously...
Guessing angry Alec can no longer claim the high moral ground on anything. Kind of hard to do after you have actually killed someone.
Not that he won't stop trying.
And yes, how the hell did he accidentally shoot not 1 but 2 people who weren't even in the scene with him?

If they were shooting a live scene, maybe there is a video even if he wasn't part of that scene? There should be at least audio.

Live rounds clearly shouldn't be anywhere close to that set or that firearm. There is no possible reason or scenario. I'm wondering if this was a sick prank by some roadie or techy that went way too far.

Someone is responsible for loading and inspecting that gun and chambering the dud round. And then presumably handing it to Baldwin. That someone should be getting worried about now. His union membership is the least thing that's going to go away for a while.

I think that Baldwin is in the clear on this. He isn't responsible for checking the gun. He's got his own job to do.

Doesn't sound like it's Baldwin's fault in any way.

Maybe if you camp outside his mansion in LA and go through his garbage, you can find something else to post about. IDK, maybe he uses pink, sissy toilet paper or something. But you have to fight for Trump and defend him. That's the important thing, right?

He is one of the projects producers though. While it may not be criminal, there will likely be some civil liabilities.

If Baldwin is in charge of the entire production, he still might get criminally charged with something

They've got insurance up the wazoo on those projects. And I'm sure that the "producer" is a numbered company with Alec as the shareholder. So no personal liability.

There was a women recently who quit the batman franchise out of safety concerns. More like people are afraid to come forward, afraid of being blackballed.
I’ll think about that when I see proof. That is a lot of speculation. Which woman left? Where is the news article? Give something.

That is certainly the conclusion if the eyewitness is correct.

Here is a - translated - article from Danish newspaper:

With 35 years of experience in the luggage and experiences from major films such as 'Hunger Games' and 'Inglorius Basterds' at Hummer Højmark, what he talks about when it comes to weapons and rules on film sets all over the world.

The 54-year-old special-effects expert does not believe there may be a prop gun in connection with the accident in which actress Alec Baldwin shot and killed female film photographer Halyna Hutchins and wounded director Joel Souza.

- Of course, something has gone wrong. But it is almost impossible to kill anyone if it is a gun with loose gunpowder.

According to the expert, he has in his time experienced how a film photographer on a recording in the Czech Republic walked in front of a machine gun that fired loose gunpowder. Here the person was hit several times in the face and subsequently had to wear a glass eye.

In the same way, expert and stuntman Lasse Spang Olsen says that the explanation of a prop does not seem to hold up from his experience with firearms on the film set.

- The short answer is that you can not kill with a prop. In the case of a prop, cartridges would not be able to come in at all and not sharp-edged at all. The barrel would be made narrow and the balls that could get in would either be made of wood or something else. If one had used a real bullet in a prop, the weapon would have exploded. It must be a real revolver, if this has happened as it is laid out.

Both experts agree that with the normal rules on a film set, there is not much likelihood that this may have happened.

- You never really aim. You are not aiming for an actor or the filmmakers. It's a camera trick, so it looks like you do it, but you would never do it normally. There are also two specialists who 'charge' the gun and give it to the actor, who fires and subsequently gets the specialist the gun again. So either it has not happened as described, or they have bent some rules, says Lasse Spang Olsen.

It does not seem like a probable explanation, the stuntman believes. Photo: Linda Johansen

Could not happen in Denmark
According to the two, the episode could never have taken place in Denmark.

- It could never happen. In Denmark, the rules are that you apply for a permit from the police, and they subsequently get the name of the actor who will use the gun, and that person would have to be approved by PET. No one in Europe would be allowed to bring a sharp weapon on a film set, the rules are very strict.

Hummer Højmark has even stood with star actors like George Clooney, where a weapon was to be used.

- There he wanted to see the gun and know that nothing could come out. At the same time, it is a much heavier weapon if there are sharp-edged cartridges in because there will be lead in. Technically, their explanation does not make sense. It must be a real weapon, he explains.

The film photographer has passed away and the director has been discharged after the incident.

So far, police have not reported more about the course, but a spokesman has stated to Deadline that Alec Baldwin has been questioned by police and has since been released.

No one has been arrested or charged with a crime at the time of writing.
