Alcohol Withdrawal in Hamilton

Please no judgment, or 12 stepping. Got back to Ontario last week after finishing a big work contract and got a big, fat ass, cheque in the bank. No work? Lots of money? Well, I Immediately went on a massive bender; a bender to end all benders. Been wasted off vodka for a solid week now, shamefully.

I've done this before, but not this many days straight. It needs to end, but I don't want to die. Is there place I can go to/is there a doctor I can trust to script me some benzodiazepines so I can put this to an end without having a heart attack? Are the hospitals here understanding? Thanks in advance.

Is there a non-judgemental free clinic out there that could illegally script me some Levonorgestrel on the down-low that I can slip her on the sly when her head comes up outta the toilet bowl for air during a break in the daily puke-fest so I can avoid becoming a forever ATM machine in the worst part of town and also avoid top billing on the cover of Family Court Magazine weekly? Are NA clinics and/or veterinarians understanding here?

I've done this before, just not in a first world country.

Anyhoo... Alcoholism sucks. I'm know I am an Alcoholic by any metric, but I'm high-functioning... I fight the battle every day with the booze side winning out 95% of the time. I know that if I quit, I'll be in better physical shape and have significantly more money, but I'm not sure the rest of my life would stay together... I like the private bliss.

...But we should not make fun.... I hope the OP solves his problem and gets better.

(PS - Beer and Escorts are my only remaining vices... Besides a bag of chips every now and again).

Best advice you can get, even if you don't want to / won't take it: Go see a doctor immediately. Hospital, clinic, telehealth - makes no difference. Just find the quickest, closest option to connect w a medical professional and get there to ask for help. The rest will unfold organically as it should.
