Sounds like Carney will not delay the process.
that is just plain stupid & petty]It was ruled he has to leave Stornoway since he's no longer an MP (even if he's still CPC leader).
yeah and you will later claim Albertans have no basis for resentment of their treatment by eastern CanadaNo doubt he'll easily win a seat back since the riding where the byelection will be held is an extreme CPC stronghold. It would be great if he has to have residence in that riding as well, out in the middle of butt-fuck nowhere Alberta.
It has nothing to do with being "petty"; the rules of Parliament state that you need to be holding a seat in Parliament in order to be Leader of the Opposition. He can remain CPC leader, but he's no longer an MP, and so long as he's not an MP he's not Leader of the Opposition which means he cannot live at Stornoway. Take your issue to the Privy Council.that is just plain stupid & petty
he will be moving back right in after the bi-election, so why disrupt his family with a completely unnecessary move ?
he has two young kids
if he was resigning as the opposition leader fine, but he is not
Liberal party kicked a long standing MP out so Carney could run .How will PP look wearing a parachute?
But not a week or so after they were elected.Liberal party kicked a long standing MP out so Carney could run .
