Does anyone else listen to this guy - all I gotta say is - well not say - but express my emotions..

His podcast is so informative and just finished his 15-part series on The History of Alt Rock. Incredible. If you haven't had a chance to listen to him - do yourself a favour and listen to some of his topics.

Yeah, he knows his shit. Apparently its the 30th anniversary of the Ongoing History. Hell of a documentary. He has encyclopedic knowledge on everything from turntables to the Manchester scene...Informative and entertaining!

listened to his show history of new music when 102.1 called themselves the edge. I’ll give his podcast a go . His story telling and the way he tied everything together was always brilliant.

Yeah - started his podcast on the Vinyl Stories - so addictive - especially if you are a fan of music.

He got assigned the first show by his boss when he was at 102.1 The Edge.
Both of them were sure not if they would run out of content within a few months.....

But it counted as CanCon back when that was a key issue with CRTC to keep your license, and that was the slot that needed topping up,

Along with all the local alt stuff they showcased back then.

I’m on his Facebook feed for updates. I swear he has a man crush on Dave Grohl.

3 hours of radio at it's best.

He was the only real reason to listen to CFNY back in the day.

Super nice guy too. Used to run into him in town at the video store. Whoa that makes me sound old!

Knows his shit and I’m super happy he’s found his market, much respect.

He has a great show.

Back in the day, CFNY was locked on my dial. From Humble and Fred in the mornings, to Allen Cross and especially the late great Martin Streak. I truly miss Martin. He played the kind of music I so loved and they cancelled him for no reason and replaced him wiht nothing. What a sad outcome that was.
