AI is a complete fraud. There is no artificial intelligence. There are no neural networks in AI. It’s all marketing hype.

It is a predictive pattern recognition tool - that’s it. They are struggling to monetize it and the bills are coming due.
The bet was it either replaced most workers and/or because the management of a security police state.
But if fails at both, workers are getting hired back and it gives way too many false positives for the police.

While I am skeptical that AI can manifest purely original innovation, it is quite powerful. I have been using it can even recognize electrical components on a circuit board. 90-95%, maybe more, of tasks are pattern based repetitions. As some say nothing is new under the sun. What I think this is linked to is a Trump executive order banning Chinese components from the US electrical grid. This blows up significant growth in US electrical power for possibly YEARS or a decade. So any new data center will be frozen while this order is studied as no one wants to build something and then have to rip it out.

Right now the killer app for AI is coding, there is no other killer app yet.

Anthropic is supposed to IPO this November and OpenAI is expected to IPO in 2027. Once the retail investors become bag holders then the bubble will pop.

From now until the OpenAI IPO, AI will still be pumped hard. Trump will probably ban non US LLMs, provide some type of backstop for AI loans in exchange for equity, put in "safety" rules that only benefit existing LLM behemoths, etc...

There is probably good money to be made with AI stocks for maybe another 6-12 months.

Chinese AI is at worst 90% as good and 1/30th the cost.

Even vibe coding has its issues, its fine for a one time app but not for long term.

AI bubble will burst soon and there will be winners with many losers as the same happened with the dot com bubble.

Hopefully it brings with it a market adjustment because many companies are highly over valued and things need to come down back to reality.
