I'm not sure if that is really good evidence. Men tend to take more risks, eat worse, drink more, do more drugs, etc etc.
Therefore aging is harder on men - not sure I see where you are going here.

On this same note I was reading something recently how more 20 something hotties are bored with 20 something guys and are looking to older guys because we tend to be more established, mature, level headed and gentlemen. hooray for us! lol
Keep telling yourself this :D

I love older men, but I think that sexually it is harder on men as they age. Viagra, Cialis etc. help some men but not all men. Many older women say that they became much more sexually voracious when they hit 40. Women have menopause and dryness issues but a little lube fixes that pretty quick. I think sexually it's harder for men to age.

Many? Maybe some. In couples therapy men always complain about not getting enough sex and women complain about not getting enough attention.

It means that men have a shorter lifespan. But, for that lifespan I think they can be more vital

Men and women age the same, but we attribute certain characteristics with female beauty which makes aging harder on women. Both men and women get the same wrinkles, but wrinkles symbolize ruggedness and male maturity, but we don't usually like to associate ruggedness with the fairer sex so wrinkles are doubly unappealing on women.

As for ethnicities, the darker the skin, on average the better the aging. This is because lighter skin is more susceptible to sun damage. On average, an Italian will age better than a Nordic type, a darker Asian will age better than the Italian, the black will age better than the dark Asian.

But it's also true that while Asians hold up extremely well into their 40s (many look like they're still in their 20s at this age), once they hit 50, age hits them like a bag of rocks, exceeding and arguably eclipsing all other ethnicities. Old women in China town are not a pretty sight.

In the end, we all get ugly, if we live long enough.

Actually, that's not true. Men have thicker skin than women with more elastin and collagen. Men also experience less bone loss and at a later age giving the skin less reason to sag.

Aging is 10 times harder for women

What I love about being a man is you can boink younger women well into your 60's. Women like a guy with some grey hair and wrinkles, but when's the last time you saw a woman with grey hair and wrinkles that looked hot??

Just the other day I got on my elevator with a 70-year old dude and his smoking hot wife who looks no older than 35. Mind you he's rich, but still.
And when I say smoking I mean smoking hot!! She's a head-turner
Case in point: http://www.tmz.com/2009/05/29/lee-majors-six-million-dollar-wife/

Lee Majors (6 million $ man) has a 34-year-old wife. He's 70 himself.
Eh, good for him I say
