Just watched video of an African being burned alive purportedly because he's gay. It would seem that the age of tolerance hasn't transferred to the Third World.

Lumping Africa in "as one" is a little on the ill-informed side.

unfortunately, one man getting killed in africa is nothing. there are hundreds of thousands dieing in their wars. and more being mis-treated by their governments. i suggest letting the "gay" thing go for a while.
