Advice for a new hobbyist

Any advice for a man who havent lost his V-card at age 31? I havent been able to build relationships outside of just work acquaintances and have loss most connections from school/university. Plus I havent even had a girlfriend before. I have always been awkward around women and dont really know how to interact with them. I have tried dating apps, and was not able to get many matches or even proceed to meeting a match for almost 1 year. There is a strong urge to just hobby at the end of this year and try it out so that at least I know what the experience is like and maybe that can lessen my anxiousness around women. On hindsight, for those who chose this path, were there any drawbacks or things that backfired for you after?

my initial thoughts for making this thread was to see did hobbying affect anyone in anyway in their approach with their relationship with partners, as Im not sure if it will affect me. Because I would probably keep this a secret for life.

I can also remember the first time I booked my first provider. My initial goal was to gain more experience talking/being with women. What I found to be super helpful were the SP of the Year poll as I wanted to go with someone well reviewed. Try out a massage parlour first, like Allure or Flirt, where things are pretty straightforward, you won’t cash in your v card there, but will have a good time.

And then when you’re comfortable after a couple of those visits, book a 2 hour (or more if you’d like to do dinner first), visit with an Indy lady, and explain your situation in advance.

I had a friend who was in a similar situation as you.
Dude couldn't talk to women, would freeze up and that was it. In my opinion has social anxiety to some degree as well.

Started by taking him to strip clubs, started with short interactions with women, then a bit longer, worked his way up to dances.

Then I took him to massage parlors.

After that escorts.

Years later he has no issues approaching the hottest women out of the blue and we laugh together when he strikes out.

The down side, he's now addicted to escorts and massage parlors, and not interested in the bullshit of regular women

What are your expectations in seeing an escort? Speaking from my own similar experiences, none of the escorts that I've been with over the years (and they are many) have done anything at all to help solve the problem of my being kryptonite to women. If all you want is to loose your virginity then that's one thing, but if you think that whatever it is that been preventing you from starting and maintaining a romantic relationship will suddenly disappear because one of the fine ladies on this board fucked your brains out you may end up very disappointed

Going to a SP to lose your virginity could help give you some confidence with women, or just make you depend on SPs for all your needs. It might not change you enough to allow you to have a real relationship with an actual woman.

You might get better bang for your buck by going to a therapist to help you with confidence and give you the push you need to improve areas of your life that need addressing. Are you just really shy and cannot talk to women? Looks are not everything, I know dudes who are solid 5s but have great confidence get women.
