Acura 3.2TL type S

Does anyone here owns one?
I just wanted to know if you have any complaints or problems with it.
I would like to get one of these beauties. Also, should I buy the car from big dealerships like Acura downtown, Royfoss, and etc, or smaller dealerships?

check the transmission, the Acura 3.2 TL is known for blown transmission at 100,000. this happened to a friend but it was covered under warranty. Otherwise it is a great car

Had 3.2 TL since 1999. Never had any issues at all. Great car. Not sure if "S" has diff internals other then tighten specs for performance.

I had a 2003 type s. Over the 3+ years I owned it I put on 145,000kms with no problems with the car. I tended to go thru tires but that was my lead foot that caused that. The only thing I find now that I am in an 07 BMW 3 series is that the TL seemed to be alot bigger ... I'm not sure how much longer the TL was but it did feel much longer.

just looked it up ...

TL was 192.5 inches long
BMW is 178.1 inches long

difference of 14.4 inches.........


I would still reccomend the TL to anyone.

What a down-grade..was it just because you wanted to say you owned a Bimmer? You were better off going with another Acura instead of settling for a low-grade BMW. JMHO

It's 2003 Acura 3.2TL Type S A-spec.
It's 87,000km. The dealer is selling it to me for 17,000 with 3 yrs warranty on engine and trans. It's fully loaded. Black on black.
I'm going to finance it. I dont know why it takes so long to hear back either it's approved or not. I went there today at 3 and I gotta call back tomorrow to see if it's approved or not.
