Accidentally stumbled upon an SPs facebook page

So, and I know some people are going to be skeptical, but I noticed earlier this week that an SP I have seen a few times, both through a couple of agencies and as an Indy, popped up as a "People You May Know" on Facebook. This wash her personal account, not a work account. I do not have any friends in common with this person, so its not that. I can only suspect that we have exchanged texts and the cell I use has also been used to log into FB, so I assume it made a connection through that. We have never contacted through FB or other social media. And no don't ask who, I am not going to out her. I am also suspecting that I may be appearing in her "People You May Know" list.

The question is where do I go from here? I suppose I need to change my FB profile settings (I am not worried about her outing me but its something I should do anyway), but should I contact the SP and tell her to change her FB profile settings. I don't want to freak her out that I stumbled upon her social media account, but I feel she deserves to know so she can change her FB settings so it doesnt happen again. It's been about 3 months since we saw last saw each other. Can some SPs give me some advice on the best actions.

FB accesses you’re cell phone contacts and searches for people that way so if you have the phone # on her FB then it’s finds her profile. She will see your profile pop up too most likely.

Last month I talked about different type of bras with my girlfriend in my apartment. Not through the phone. We chatting about them in the living room. Half hour later when I opened my laptop I got a few ad about bras but I didn't google it just talked about it. What do you think? Interesting! :)

Think it also accesses GPS info as well - I was at the Downer last summer and messing around on my phone during a break song and had a dancer's FB page appear in my suggested list. What surprised me was she was actually working that day and sitting about 20 feet from me. Prior to that I had never seen her in person or on FB.

Amazon app on Android: install it if you don't have it and walk into a Chapters when they finally reopen. Pretty solid bet you'll get a notification from the app telling you about a book promo etc... Happens every single time I wander into a Chapters.

If you have a device like Alexa or some other virtual assistant solution online in your home, they are always on and 'listening', collecting data and sending back to the mother ship which in turn sells the data it collected. Not surprised context-specific marketing appeared soon after on other devices.

I ran into a few personal social media accounts.
I also had SP's full legal names revealed through an etransfer on more than one occasion.

your phone number is on your FB profile....if she's in your contacts as well....they make the connection. remove your phone number from your FB profile.

THIS.

It doesn't matter if you have your phone number listed on your facebook or not. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter.. all of the social media platforms have inherent backend coding (no idea what the correct terminology is) to extract the contacts from your phone's contact list as well as any apps history you have on your phone and find their associated accounts and recommend or suggest them to you.

How do I know this? I have deleted all my personal social media accounts for a while now. I used an old phone to connect to a new sim card with a new phone number for Florence recently and started my new instagram account. There, I had several personal contacts pop up in my recommended/suggested section who I had to immediately block (this was a multi-hour process). Through the process of elimination, I soon figured it out. Some of it was because of the contact being listed on my phone from ages ago. It is very difficult to remove all contacts - a complete wipe of contacts from the phone (resetting) did not do it. The contacts still appeared. I had to manually delete each contact. After that, I had to go into all my phone apps who save phone numbers and delete contacts from there as well. Information is also extracted from your whatsapp message history - several contacts who I never added into my phone address book but with whom I had communicated with ages ago appeared in my recommended/suggested list on instagram. The other thing is any google account you log into for Chrome browser or for Youtube or for Calendar, or Google Maps. Information is also extracted from your emails contacts.

*For any sps reading this thread and wanting more information, I will refer you to the sp who educated me on this so you can connect.. DM me on Twitter.

In terms of how best to tell her - I recommend telling her in person at your next session.

I have had occasions in the past where someone I did not know contact me and tell me they know my real identity through Florence contact methods and I find this is really intrusive and frightening to receive these messages from a stranger - since they are not willing to share their identity there is no way for me to understand how the connection was made and I can only hypothesize with no real answers.
