Hi all, my BELL sympatico contract is ending and looking for another supplier.
I live in an area where my fastest speed from Bell is upto 2.5Mbps but they didn't tell me and is charging me $51/mth for 7Mbps. Did a search and see Acanac, is very cheap compare to Bell for the same service.

http://www.acanac.ca/more-info.htm

Any subscriber from this company or info on their service etc? Thanks

Acanac uses Bell lines for their DSL so it won't be any faster. Keeping that in mind, there are reasons why they are one of the cheapest ISPs out there.

Look into Teksavvy (http://www.teksavvy.com) - it's still Bell DSL, but with tech support and customer service that is unmatched...

Teksavvy is an excellent choice. They may not immediately answer your call with a tech support guy but they will call you back.

Well, called BELL to cancel my service, now they want to give me a deal of $38-$5 for another year. WTF. So I ask her, shouldn't I get my money back for the last 2yrs when the upgraded me from 5mbps to 7mbps? knowing full well that my max speed was 2.5mbps.

I got rid of Teksavvy because of their slow torrent speeds (courtesy of bell)

Agreed. I've been told the owner hangs out on DSLreports.com and is very accessible.

Made me want to sign up but I'm too far away from the CO.
