follow the LINK provided in the quote I had

you will see it is a CBS story on Christian Right wanting Isreal to survive.

You will also see JERRY FAWELL is pretty mush so featured in the story

Now Search the MORAL MAJORITY and will find AL and Tippper Gore, Pat Robertson and Jerry himself.

Sorry for the confusion, I will type slower.

Try to follow along, jh. Go to dictionary.com if you are having trouble with any of the big words.

The Christian Right currently maintains one of the most powerful pro-Isaeli lobbies in Washington.

At every step in the "peace process" that the WH is supposedly trying to inculcate in Israel, the Christian right has made its voice heard, and Bush has listened. To quote the article that you obviously didn't read:

"Falwell began to detect just that in April 2002 when President Bush called on Israel to withdraw its tanks from Palestinian towns on the West Bank. So Falwell shot off a letter of protest to the White House, which was followed by a hundred thousand e-mails from Christian conservatives. Israel did not move its tanks. Mr. Bush did not ask again.

“There’s nothing that would bring the wrath of the Christian public in this country down on this government like abandoning or opposing Israel in a critical matter,” Falwell says. The “Christian public” is, he says, Mr. Bush’s core constituency."

The explicit agenda followed by this lobby is to promote an all out religious war in the holy land. Their purpose for doing so follows a pretty murky reading of Revelations, which supposedly states that the Second Coming will be preceeded by a gigantic war, during which 2/3 of all Jews will be killed. The rest will be converted to Christianity.

Have Christian fundamentalists perpetrated violence against Muslims? Absolutely. Their leverage power in American politics - and they have exercised this leverage with success in both the Clinton and Bush adminstrations - combined with a perverse allegience with Jewish fundamentalists, has succeeded in creating the quagmire that is the Middle East. A quagmire, mind you, that we are all rapidly sinking into.

To sum up: Fundamentalism, of whatever stripe, is evil.

Okay?

"There is the alliance between America and Israel in the war on Islamic terror. But it goes deeper. For Christians who interpret the bible in a literal fashion, Israel has a crucial role to play in bringing on the Second Coming of Christ. "
"“It is my belief that the Bible Belt in America is Israel’s only safety belt right now,” says Rev. Jerry Falwell, one of the leaders of the Christian Right. That’s the bulk of Evangelical Christians; Falwell claims to speak for all of them. "

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2002/10/03/60minutes/main524268.shtml

U.S. political action group composed of conservative, fundamentalist Christians. Founded (1979) and led (1979–87) by evangelist Rev. Jerry Falwell, the group played a significant role in the 1980 elections through its strong support of conservative candidates. It lobbied for prayer and the teaching of creationism in public schools, while opposing the Equal Rights Amendment (see feminism), homosexual rights, abortion, and the U.S.-Soviet SALT treaties (see disarmament, nuclear). The Moral Majority was dissolved in 1989.

a) We know all this.

b) You stole my link. :)

c) I still don't have the slightest clue what your point is.

d) Seek help for your glue addiction.

Drunkie, I did not ask for conspiracy theories and what Fallwell believes, I asked for actual ACTS OF VIOLENCE committed by christians against muslims or anyone else. ACTIONS would inlude bombings, hijacking, random murders, flying airplanes into buildings....etc...etc

So once again I ask you to give me examples of actual violence that HAS ALREADY OCCURRED!!!

Hey I am paranoid of those Christian right freaks!!! But then again I might be gay! Don't bend over handsome. WTF? Someone disagrees with you so they must be gay? Are you homophobic Johnny? Sort of like Col. Frank Fitts in American Beauty? Or are you a Christian right fundamentalist freak?
