If 85% take the vaccine, it would need to be about 95% effective vs variants to bring the R number below 1 as they are more contagious than the OG variant.
That assumes those 85% actually follow through. Even then at a number slightly below 1, one should have some mild restrictions to tamper things down to 0 cases.
Time to make the shot manditory once voluntary runs out, either vaccine or 9mm
