Assuming you want to learn Spanish, I suggest you start with a Franklin BES-1850 because its only $120 US and it works pretty good. It wont teach you to speak Spanish fluently but it will simply instantly give you the word you are looking for. It's much faster and easier then looking it up in a paper dictionary. also the Latino chicks really dig these contraptions.
