You mean if the US under Sanders was a Communist state?

btw billionaires aren't the problem. The people who suggest they are the problem are the ones who are the problem.
the ones supporting Bernie have no idea about risk/ return trade off and how it is absolutely critical for a functioning economy

The billionaires are the ones trying to turn the country into a communist state. As good oligarch, they know they would calmly control everything much more easily.

Due to healthcare, 325k people file for personal bankruptcy in the US annually, compared to zero in Canada. Of course, this does not affect the rich.

concentration of wealth is a problem, and billionaire controlling the political system is a problem. Does a polical system that serves billionaires also serve the masses? Why do we need billionaires, we have stockmarkets to provide capital. Does it make any difference to Elon Musk if he had only 7 or 8B vs 440?

Billionaires make their money by providing what people want. No one forces you to buy their products & services. That's not Communism...that's Capitalism. So why should they be blamed and punished for their innovation and smart decisions?
Confusing their success with the shortcomings of other things is foolish and plays right into the socialist agenda.

Why do you want to limit what someone can make if they are the ones who were innovative and took all the risks to get there?
The socialists (ie Communists) want to convince you that successful people are the problem. They're not.

No one forces you to use Amazon, Facebook, or Tesla. So why punish them for being successful?

In 2023 there were 434K non business bankruptcies in the U.S. You mean to tell me that 75% of those are due to not being able to pay medical bills? I don't buy that for a second. By far the #1 factor leading to bankruptcy is loss of income/job. There are other factors such as overextending mortgage debt, irresponsible spending or loaning too much money to family/friends.

capitalism is good until we reach the end of the monopoly game.

That makes no sense and completely ignores the points I made and the question I asked you.

btw the problem with Socialism is that we eventually run out of other people's money.

So people like to bitch about billionaires and what they got. I get they don't pay their fair share of taxes.
But don't blame them for being successful. They took all the risk.
Do people expect them to take much of their wealth and start giving it away to buy houses for the poor, randomly pay for peoples health care?
I would love to be a billionaire or even a multimillionaire but I'm not.
One thing I don't do is blame billionaires for my own situation.
I say good for them. They had the smarts and balls to take the risks.

This says at least 40%
However there is a lot of not reporting reasons, so they think 50% up to 60+% is actually happening.

And yes is does happen quite regularly. Deductibles alone are now as high as $14,000. Then coverage denial comes in, drug costs, copays, no insurance and more. Also trying to protect spouses.

Sorry dude, it's nasty down there. And btw medical results in job losses, extra loans on mortgages and yes, loaning money to family to save their lives. Would you let let your kid die? Think about it.

How is inheriting billions taking a risk lol. I am quite fortunate, but the growing stratification of wealth will make our country poorer and more like Haiti
