I would like to say thank you to my client I just saw.. I consider him a true gentleman ...
I have not seen this man in quite a few months. He came in today for his regular service that I provide for him.. and in giving me the gift he mentions that He owed me some money from the last time he saw me , in which I totally forgot about it .. He did not have to give it back at all..
but he did and I thank him openly for doing so..

I always thought a true gentleman was a guy who put his weight on his forearms.
I can see why you would be biased to assume that this quality that you yourself possess is a sign of being a gentleman. Of course, resting your weight on your forearms is really just another sign you display of being a knuckle dragger.

It's good to hear something from an SP about a client in a positive light. Sounds like the gentlemen has integrity and class.

Not to mention all the other gentlemen out there who wouldn't owe in the first place.

Maybe if he'd known that you'd forgotten, he wouldn't have been such a gentleman.

Not a nice thought, admittedly, but it's possible.

a true gentleman never owes a girl money in the first place xD
That was my first thought. Somebody mentioned Popeye. More like J Ellington Wimpy

"gladly pay you Tuesday for a .... hamburger today"

Not that I'm comparing you to a piece of meat LR. Your taking the time to thank this gent on the board and your very respectful posts (and lovely pics) define your Classiness...

Look at all the guys who see the glass half empty. The lady sees a room full of beautiful ponies and many guys are looking for the shit in the room. All LR wanted to do was to share a feel good story and be appreciative, but so many guys come on and see how to make this a negative. You don't know the circumstances, it can happen if you're a regular, don't assume, don't presume, don't be asshats..............a nice comment is a simple gesture.

As someone who always pays my debts (and I believe that I am in the majority here), I can agree with the actions of the gentleman described in the OP but I don't believe that his behaviour is particularly remarkable.

I feel a little sad for LR if she is coming into contact with many people who would not pay their debts to her.

Not at all.. he thought he had payed the full amount at the time.. it can happen.. I seen him often.. he then went away for a few months. repayed me when he was able.
I had forgotten about it .. He reminded me and repayed.. he did not have to do any such thing. could have just came here and played it cool and seen if I had remembered. but He did not.. He is a man of class in my books

I'm glad things worked out and I agree he did the right thing. However, I think you set the bar for class too low...paying you what he owed is basic civilized behaviour and i hope we don't live in a society where it's a rare act of kindness to be honest.
