I was staying at a hotel and tried to book with an agency and they requested the name that I had booked the hotel under.

They may have legitimate reasons for asking for this but no way in hell am I giving them my information that could end up on some internal database.

One time I got an outcall and the sp made me tell her my name and room number so she could call the hotel and have them forward it to my phone so she could verify that I was staying there. I did it because I was horny but never again.

anonymous source like Paypal in place of providing
the link to my linkedin account and my passport id.
Any risk of losing my deposit is a small price to pay
wrt loss of the peace of mind.

Even if you provide personal information and the SP has every intention of keeping that information secure/secret, there have been instances of their email accounts and websites/databases being hacked and there goes all your information. It's not as if there's a penalty for losing your information to another party. Another risk to consider if thinking of signing up with an indy. I've only seen 2 and don't really intend on seeing anymore.

Bottom line guys.....if you don't like the screening process move on to an escort that has a screening process you can deal with. The only reason the screening process has gotten so rigorous as of late is because a good number of "our brothers" are time wasters, assholes and fuck wads intent of scamming the girls and toying with them for entertainment.

When I first joined this board screening was easy and the escorts ALWAYS gave us the benefit of the doubt. Not any more and honestly, given what I read daily on this board I don't blame them. We are our own worst enemies

I first off am one that although I'm sure you classify as an asshole, I do not waste a minute on attempting to book these ladies who request deposits and real info. I simply dial into my favorite agencies or one of my regular indy ladies except for Saturday which is reserved for my SBs. You, on the other hand, give in to their ridiculous demands and allow for this ridiculous one-sided practice to continue which one day will probably come to bite you on the ass and then please allow me to be the one to yell from a rooftop "I told you so". I will pay you for this privilege if you do not ask for my real name.

What could happen to a client who, having met all the
requirements of the strictest screening process, turned
out to be an ass hole nonetheless? Would the SP use his

Hi,

I have contacted an sp today in Toronto for the first time. We exchanged e-mails and i told her what i was looking for and we were okay till now.
Later she e-mailed me asking me to provide either my LinkedIn /license or passport along with a deposit.

Now i have no issues with deposit but rest all are my private things so I asked her can we work out one of the two options

1. A meet and greet at my expense and compensation for her time along with a place and time of her choosing before the session
2. A skype call for verification of my phone number

Instead I got a plain NO. Which is her right but i was wondering is the request for personal info like license or passport. Also most sp hide their faces including the one in question I am guessing for privacy reasons so is it so unreasonable to try keeping our privacy.

I am in no way ranting on her she was right to place her security as a priority and i believe I did the right thing by keeping my privacy over the session.

Thanks for sharing your experience and it's always an education to hear someone's view on this subject. I would tend to make the exact same decision as you did along with several other people I know. Naturally security is an important element on the part of SPs, but from what some of us have seen in the way it's been played out, the security aspect for us hobbyists can become vulnerable and easily violated (i.e. exposing private personal info). This being said, for the few well-reviewed and established sps, the approach has been relaxed slightly in that email transfers were sent (but not in full of course) while some form of not-too-personal IDs were used (i.e. Terb User ID).
