i have cut portions for meals. try to eat breakfast everyday but miss at least half the time. normal lunch, normal dinner. i have been on a blt kick lately, love me a good blt. i have been doing exercise with resistance bands 30 mins a day when i am on the road. when i am at home i have a 20 pound weight that i use 2x 30 mins a day.

anyway with the portion reduction and weight lifting i started to lose weight and got down to something i was happier about but still had another 50 to go. now for some reason my weight is going back up now. my stomach is still smaller like it was when i was at the better weight but my weight is still going up.

any idea's why that might be ?
all that matters is how you look in the mirroe fuck the scale its irrelevant. that being said to drop more wait you need tyo eat less or burn more calories. the other scenario is your body is overtrained ull know if this is the case bc you will be sore all over and mentally tired uninterested in fitness...burnt out. in that case take 2 weeks off.

This thread is hilarious...first off, this diet is basically a starvation diet, nothing that will change your habits long term. In order to do that, you need to be very restrictive with the types of food you eat and follow a strict macro-nutrient ratio. Your calories are also too high at 2100, especially considering your workout is poor as well. Is it better than nothing, yes, but after a couple weeks there will be no further results. Without writing an actual plan, focus on compound exercises, those movements that are multi-joint, that replicate a demand on your central nervous system. Squats, lunges, deadlifts, pull-ups, push presses, etc. Stay away from steady rate cardio period. Instead of running, do a 20 minute cycle of sprints. Find a field and run it. 10 yards sprint, walk back. 20 yards sprint, walk...all the way until you've sprinted the entire field, adding 10 yards each time.

If you're serious, you can't wing it..period. No bread, no dairy, high protein, good fats and less than 100 grams of HEALTHY carbs a day is a rudimentary way of going about it. Eating healthy is much different than eating to lose weight and change your body's natural cravings. Start to read labels, write down what you eat with your calorie totals. Aim for no more than 1700 a day as an average. Best of luck.

I get around.
I also have a question for the exercise oriented: is anyone besides me participating in the Tannenbaum 10K charity run this Sunday? I did it last year also. It's quite nice, starts on Beaches boardwalk then Martin Goodman Trail and down the Leslie Street spit, and back.
