OK I retired a few years ago and swore I would not be back but here I am back again, now the question I have been asked over and over again is why did I come back??? I missed the variety and the company of most of my clients as well as the lifestyle I am able to live from the income but most of all, dangit, is I missed the SEX!!!! Most people do not understand this they say well I think that is a part of the job that I would not like???? huh???? So my question to you SPs and retired SPs is if being a SP did not involve sexual contact would you still do it? or would you still enjoy it as much??? or would you enjoy it more???
Thanks
Shaneen

I got tired of what the business became... any ladies who have been around at least 10 yrs can say that it's not the same. Some don't care... I did. Sure I miss the fun and the cash is fun too. My legit life is great too. I appreciate things alot more because I work harder for them. My 4 month old son smiles at me every morning....and I know for me it was the right decision. I got married bought another property....I actually wanted a 'normal life". I got alot out of the business too, a finished education, a legit job in a big chain corporation, 4 properties, cars, a GREAT rrsp and GIC's, clothes, great friends and the list goes on. I always said when I had what I needed I would stop working.

most girls use it as a marketing ploy retirement specials and crap like that. I can honestly say knowing shaneen that she would truly miss the great sex....

I loved working when it was fun but now there are so many services offered that I would never do I thought that it was time to retire, on a good note. But other than email I have no contact with any old clients. Many girls I still see and chat too but that's about it for me. I am lucky I never HAD to escort...I could just walk away. The worst thing is to do it and not love it.

I have been out of the business for a little while now and frankly I don't care if I ever see another penis again as long as I live.

Good choice, retiring. For both parties.

i retired once not for promo but because i met someone and wanted to be faithful. things changed and i came back to "oh you didn't really retire you did it to boost biz" which is bull shit.
truthfully if sex wasn't part of it as well as meeting so many awesome friends i wouldn't be in this biz. anyone who truly knows me knows this already

if i was in this for the cash i would be seeing 2 or 3 clients a day and charging wayyyyy more

Too funny (or sad), whichever way you look at it.

Really Retired.....REALLY!
I have been retired for almost three years now, (almost 5 if you count the 2 yrs prior when I was only seeing a VERY limited number of regular clients) and I left because it was time.
I found a wonderful relationship and a good job and just 2 weeks after announcing my official retirement found out I was expecting a baby (very good timing)!

If the job did not involve sexual contact I would likely still be doing it, not that I didn't like the sex, I loved it but I always swore I wouldn't do this job if I was married, well I am not married but I might as well be and although I know if this was something I told him I had to do that he would stand by me, it would eat him alive and I just couldn't watch that happen.
If there was no sex it would be a different story, we wouldn't be worth as much money per hour but the talking and getting to meet such a diverse group of people was a very important part of the job to me too and I do miss that part a lot.

Heaven, definately Heaven
To all you babes, retired SPs, current SPs, and returning SPs.....welcome back! We guys need the sex like milking a cow. Sooner or later, we have no choice because or vein becomes strained and it's because we have big balls like Chimps. :D If we had balls like Baboons, we would not require the sevices offered. As for my brain, well it can be like a chimp or a baboon.

Thank you for all your help! I love you girls! REALLY!!

constantly being judged on merely a few superficial attributes. That is the sad reality and part of the reason that I had disconnected with the industry myself for a while. People only know you for that and barely anything else. It is not a business where you can completely shine in your own right.
I agree! It is tough to constantly be judged on superficial things such as hair colour, boob size, how skinny our waist is, etc. etc. when some of us feel we have so much more to offer (that many guys couldn't care less about). That is the nature of the business though - the clients aren't here to make us feel good about ourselves. They're here for their own reasons. C'est la vie!:)

I am sorry if my comments that I posted yesterday were a little harsh. I was very tired and maybe could have posted a more user friendly response. I'm not a lesbian and I don't hate men. I retired from this profession to find a better life than the one I was leading. It is not for me anymore. Not now and not when I was in it.

I met some wonderful people in my former life. Many of them I still count as dear friends. For me it was never about sex or personal gratification. It was always about my need for money, plain and simple. I do not harbour any bad feelings towards anyone that I was associated with, other than the guy that got me involved in the first place. I don't look down at anyone involved in this profession or hobby, depending on your point of view. It is just no longer for me.

Best wishes and all my love to all.

Xarir runs over and gives Shaneen a welcome-back slap on the ass. :D

Also, thank you to all the ladies for your comments. Very insightful indeed. For the most part they mirror why I'm gently exiting the hobby.

Yeah, or height. Like girls constantly judge guys on. Such a superficial thing! But hey, you girls are guilty of it too. Superficiality from both worlds. Its a superficial world!

Okay, I guess Misstakes isn't the only one who sounded negative on this thread.

Not to sound like we're jumping all over you for your post, but dear, our whole society is rife with makeup ads, beauty ads, diet drugs, images of what women should be etc etc etc and I hate to admit it, but guys are visual creatures and women play on that.

As my esteemed colleague said before me: try being on the other side of the fence (male). I say time and time again that women invent 1,000,000 reasons to tear a man down. Most are just as superficial as those that you've stated. here's some examples:
Too tall/too short
Too big/too small
Too fat/Too thin
Not dressed good enuff/Dressed too good
Not Smart enuff/Too smart (aka nerdy)
Loves his car too much/Doesn't have a nice enough car
Doesn't live in a good neighbourhood/Lives in too nice a neighbourhood

Anyhow, back to the original topic, I think it takes a special kind of woman to be an sp and to be a good sp, you have to enjoy your work. (well, to be good at anything you have to enjoy it).

I think as with all things if you don't want to do it forever, one should have a game plan to get in, make the money, invest wisely, then get out.

For the record I really love hearing of sp's who move on and find someone really special to spend their life with. There are some who are involved and still stay in the biz and that's their choice but I still believe in monogamy and enjoy hearing about those who have found it.....
