Being a semi regular in the political forum I would agree. Let's keep this thread about the music, something we can all agree upon. Was the guy upstairs Martin Koppel, the owner? I sold him a ton of vinyl around 2010 to 2012.
i didnt buy this single in real time....years later i found it at Kops Collectables on Queen St....i loved going there because the guy upstairs would let me play a few seconds of a song on his turntable to see if i liked it....i loved this song .... i was aware of the Wilson Pickett version....i still have it in my collection...and it snap crackles & pops just like this vid ..lol...

no...upstairs was an employee...i think Marty worked the main floor when he was there.....upstairs was where he had all the Soul and R&B stuff, along with a wall full of Albums....and yes he was an encyclopedia about black music.........im not sure if he is still with us or that the store still exists........................and X maybe i have some records that you sold him..lol...Was the guy upstairs Martin Koppel, the owner?
