Billy Stewart is one of my favorite solo singers from the 1960's. Such a unique but soulful voice.

I know I've said this before but I'll continue to say it. The harmony of these sisters are off the charts.

RIP Angie Stone. Tragically killed in an automobile accident earlier this month. She was big in the neo soul movement of the 2000's staring with her debut LP 'Mahogany Soul' in 2001.

"I Wanna Thank Ya" feat. Snoop Dogg

"I Ain't Hearin' U"

In the April issue of Record Collector magazine out of the UK there is a feature article on Dionne Warwick

Imho she is one of the most talented female vocalists of all time.

Here is one with Dionne and The Spinners:

Isaac Hayes released a cover of Walk On By in 1969. As good as it is, it doesn't touch the original. Dionne's voice and that piano are spine tingling.

Isaac's version (which is considerably longer)

Not sure what the girl in the passenger seat is holding in her right hand from time to time

Even after watching the clip 20 times!

I think I'm in love...
