Remember many great songs featuring Ben E. King, Stand by Me, Save the last dance, There goes my baby, Spanish Harlem, etc. They were one super R&B, Doo- Wop band.
I vaguely remember this song, however, as I have been a huge Van Morrison fan, having almost all of his recordings in my library, I don't get the connection. Don't think he ever recorded that song, or did he?I'm pretty sure this predates Van Morrison. This got 60's sound. Digging it!

Thanks, Obi, I do recollect that now. He must have been around 20 yrs old then. I remember his first big hit Brown Eyed Girl which got me hooked on his music mainly because I was dating a gorgeous girl at that time and used to sing (badly) that song to her.LOL.
Okay Eddie here you go...VM fronting a group called Them
To be honest I'm not that familiar with his discog either but I remember this jam. Hit #3 on the R&B charts. RIP Michael.
RIP...im not familiar with his work.seems to .be.a decent R&B crooner from the 70,s ....KDouglas is probably more familiar..
