"Jamie" by Eddie Holland. One of his few vocal releases before Barry Gordy decided Eddie would be more valuable in the songwriting/production side of the business. Hence the Holland-Dozier-Holland partnership

I think he's got some vocal chops. Still I think Gordy made the right call because that Holland-Dozier-Holland team was stellar.

Interesting take on "I Want You Back" with David Ruffin on vocals.

Interesting but for me sounds out of place. Not taking away anything from Ruffin's vocal ability, it just doesn't match the music style for me.

Covering a Everley Bros song no less..................Sam Moore one of the Elites
Aah, the Everley Bros. The first record that I bought at age 16. Played All I have to do is Dream over and over until I learned all the words. Too bad I couldn't sing. LOL. Collected all their music for many years.

They were actually real brothers. Big hit was Twist And Shout. Think they started the dance craze the Twist.
Actually Eddie it was this guy........and then Chubby Checker covered it and became a monster hit
