They may not be black but...

allow me some leeway and pan this piece of crap foisted on us by these these two poseurs......and Fun For All....there are many renditions of this song if you wish to post them...vastly superior to this sludge.....end of rant.....

You don't have to be black to have soul. Lady T is proof of that
i agree Dougie...lots of great blue eyed soul out there.......but imo This Blues Brothers crap from yesteryear was only a vanity project..and inferior to the classics they were butchering

I agree certainly that Ackroyd and Belushi are much better at acting than at singing. But at the very least they shone a spotlight on black music with the popularity of their act.

Feeling tired and hungover this Saturday morning. Didn't get until 3:00 am. Nothing like hearing some classics to bring me some energy. God I love the guitar riff in this one (besides the lovely ladies harmonies of course)

This woman had quite the vocals. She was mostly featured as a backup singer but hit gold with this record in 1991

My God this song just hits all the buttons for me. Jean Carn was brilliant. Gamble and Huff on the production. Great team.

And of course the amazing hip hop sample of this by Brand Nubian

Loved this song back in high school. Haven't heard this in a minute.

Been Around the World might have been her biggest hit but this was my favorite from Lisa Stansfield
