Her version of The Weight,was great but I still think that the original by Levon Helm and The Band was better. Loved that song.
Wow, you are going way back in time. I did not get to listen to many of her songs, but she really had very unique way of singing that was totalling different from any other singers even to this day. Too bad that she had a very troubled life, died from cirhourssis of the liver at age 44. Reminds me of the troubled life of another great singer in Amy Winehouse.
im a sap for sappy soul....i admit it.............i posted this live version of this soul hit because of the audience reaction and EH feeding off the love................toward the end of the song the audience showed their appreciation and love and EH gave it right back..............ya im a softy, and i never get tired of viewing this vid
