This is so worth the 50 minutes of listening time. Philly represent. I personally think Daryl Hall is criminally underrated as a singer. Go back into the Hall & Oates discography there are many challenging songs to sing due to the tempo changes, the highs and lows. Not a lot of singers could pull off what he did. More on Hall & Oates at a later date.

another blue eyed soulster from Toronto back in the 60,s Grant Smith and the Power,,,Keep on Running...….I was lucky enough to see this guy live, back in the day...he and George Oliver, who I saw at a StMikes sock hop.....were the kings of white guys wailing some R&B in Toronto in the 60,s and 70,s

considering the times it was a gutsy move, Sam Cooke was selected to sing the theme song of the 1960 Rome Olympic Games..Arrivederci Roma.

Doug, awhile back you referenced Hall and Oates.....some great blue eyed soul with those two
I'm a huge Hall & Oates fan. It was funny I was in the pharmacy yesterday and Out of Touch was playing in the background. An older gent asked the girl at the drop off counter who was singing the song she didn't know so she asked her 3 colleagues none of them could answer it. That's when I chimed in :)
