I guess Elton John, The Who etc would have possibly been your favorites? You were lucky my friend. I was born in the 70's.
Actually my first music idols were probably Michael Jackson and Duran Duran (no joke). Then I got into hip hop in the mid 80's - Run DMC, Beastie Boys, Schoolly D were my go to's. I really didn't start getting into the foundation of black music until the 2000's. And I'm still listening and learning new things all the time.I guess Elton John, The Who etc would have possibly been your favorites?
Oh wait, this is a Black Music thread:sorry::sorry::sorry:
