you are testifying Bucktee............exquisite voice....i kinda forget about her......she was one of my late father, favs,,,,and i inherited one of her Albums....i havent played it for years...i still have a turntable ,maybe i should revisit her music.....thanks for posting

one of the strengths of the very early Rolling Stones was to unearth some gems and cover them
and yes i have this Album in my collection...lol

The first rap song commercially released, September 1979, by The Sugar Hill Gang, as opposed to "underground" rap back in the late 70's, as far as I know...

This was the first commercially successful rap record but this one was recorded and released a few months earlier
