I loved Buddy Holly and Ritchie Valens, and as a 14 year old their tragic deaths were the first entertainer death losses I experienced and felt sadness for.
Peggy Sue was one of the first '45s I ever bought.
One of Motown's first hits. Released on the Chess label in 1959, as Motown didn't have their distribution set up yet.
