In the laboratory.
For much of this afternoon, I've sitting by my living room window and watching the flakes come down. What a beautiful sight it is. From roads to rooftops, everything is covered in a soft white blanket. Would that this happened more often.

Last night I went out for an hour's walk in the storm. I'm pretty sedentary but this just wasn't to be missed. It takes your mind off your troubles, petty and otherwise.

Now I think I'll go put on some Christmas music and have a little snooze. Great sleeping weather too!

I think it looks worse than it is. Sitting high above downtown, the snow looks like it's really driving. But, there is hardly any accumulation on the rooftops. It's probably mostly wind-blown drift...
Spoken like someone who doesn't have to shovel.

Last night we got off easy (?) with the light snow...this is the wet stuff. There'll be a couple of TERBites with sore backs tomorrow.

slight power outage for 90 minutes downtown started to close businesses downtown in a panic considering the bad weather.
