Where are the best places around the city to get your car washed?

There is one good car wash in my area (401 and Leslie) where they take out the mats vacuum inside and also hand towel the excess water when they are done. I think there is one at Queensway and Kipling too. Are there any good one's in Markham? I'm not a big fan of touchless as the car never really seems "clean" afterwards. I suppose it could be YMMV situation.

Full Service Cash Washes

There are 3 places that come to mind. The first, located on Jane St, right next to the 400 highway ramp. The second, located at St.Clair/Bathurst. The last, Avenue Rd/near Lawrence. All three offer 'no touch' washes, clean the interior of the vechile (this would include washing all mats, vacuum and, clean the windows). The exterior is then hand dried. Great job is done at all these locations. A clean car is a happy car....

I read this thread thinking a "good car wash" was like "greek" or "snowballing" or some other euphamism...you're actually looking for a shiny vehicle!

So if a "good car wash" was a euphamism what would it be?

Perfect Details is a good place by the airport.

Think the address is 76 Galaxy blvd,you will see signs for it off of Carlingview dr.
if your looking for a quick wash and vaccum he charges $15 and does a great job.

For the tips. I will check out the Lawrence and Avenue location over the weekend. If it's better than the one on York Mills by the Prince it must be pretty good.

Whobee, I go to the Parkway car wash which is quite close for you.
It is on the south side of Sheppard, just east of the 404, between Tim Hortons and the Fish House.

I feel the Lawrence/Avenue Rd. guys are in too much of a hurry to justify their prices. The best one I've found is Queensway/Cawthra, which unfortunately, is nowhere near Markham. But they spend at least twice as much time and are much more thorough doing the final interior cleaning.

There's one a King & Bathurst (south side of King, just west of Bathurst) that usually fairly busy. You have the choice of sending your vehicle through the beast or getting a hand wash. Drying is always done by hand either way.

Today I splurged and got a wash & wax at JW Car Care. There's one in Scotia Plaza and I believe another in Hazelton Lanes. At $80 it was pricey but they did a pretty good job.

I block East of McCowan on Hwy 7.

It's a hands on Interior/Exterior Wash for about $20 and they do a really good job.

They also provide detailing services, for about $100 they made my 10 year old Chevrolet look almost brand new.

I have tried about 10 different places in and around the GTA and these guys clean the best.

Best place I have found is on Bayview just south of Steeles on the east side ( it's in an Esso station I think ). For 39.99 you get the "executive" which is an inside out service... hand wash, vacuming ( including the trunk ) windows etc... especially great if you're a smoker as the car even smells great when they're done.
